My name is John Corsner and let me start off by telling you my journey to Black Forest Web. I started making websites in 1998 on a Gateway desktop using a 56k dial-up connection… a dinosaur in todays standards. Around the same time I picked up Digital Design with an early version of Photoshop. Over the next 2+ decades, I discovered WordPress and began mastering the CMS platform. I have built countless websites, both WordPress and non-CMS sites, e-commerce stores, online communities, business portfolios and more. I began taking freelance jobs in 2006 and over the next decade, I would find random projects here and there. It wasn’t until 2019 that I really started pursuing clients, expanding my portfolio and building a brand. My focus was to help the little guys, the start ups and home businesses be able to launch their online stores or blogs without paying $10k+ for a website. As time went on, my clients scaled up, the work scaled up, and the projects became alot more then small startups. This is where Black Forest Web came to life, as a way to work with other developers and designers to collaborate all of our work into one dashboard and organize our Clients into one place. The possibilities from here are endless as we plan to hire more employees and expand our office space over the next year as we take on bigger clients and even bigger projects.
